Let’s discuss the awesome TTE555 turbo upgrade on this MK 7.5 Golf R Stage 3 it’s seen astonishing gains despite minimal modifications.
Astonishingly now close to 560 horsepower, the initial setup included only basic modifications like an intercooler, Revo intake, and a turbo-back exhaust system with a sports cat.
Firstly we pushed the power to just over 400 horsepower with our Stage 2 calibration. However, the quest for higher performance led us to a crucial upgrade, the TTE555 turbo, the largest hybrid turbo for this platform. Impressively, it delivered 557 horsepower during the final dyno run, showcasing its capability to handle 2.2 to 2.3 bar effortlessly in higher RPM.
Next, we addressed high-pressure fueling limitations by introducing Autotec high-pressure fuel pump internals, raising rail pressure to 230 bar for improved fueling capacity. Additional MK 7.5 Golf R Stage 3 modifications involved installing five-bar MAP sensor conversions for optimal performance, enabling us to make the most of the turbo.
