McLaren 720s stage 1 tuning package…the ultimate performance upgrade for the 720s. We’ve spent hours of development time, on our MAHA Dyno, road and track creating a unique bespoke ECU calibration for the phenomenal M840T engine. Our calibration unleashes significant power and torque while retaining smooth delivery, and drivability with incredible drama!
The McLaren M840T engine is a 4.0 L 90-degree, twin-turbocharged, flat-plane V8 power plant designed and manufactured by McLaren in partnership with Motorsport legends Ricardo. McLaren utilised it in the 720s in 2017, an evolution of the M838T engine. Like all twin-scroll turbos, they’re developed to minimise lag. With our McLaren 720s stage 1 tuning package, you’ll have instant torque from 400Nm at 1600 RPM peaking at 850Nm at 6000 RPM…it takes your breath away!
We’re proud to say our custom ECU calibration is thrilling….our McLaren 720s stage 1 tuning package not only closely matches the original calibration, but it has vastly improved low RMP power and torque. With years of development, it’s ultra-reliable, not overly aggressive and designed to work perfectly with the M840T power plant. We’ll perform initial power runs and diagnostics to check everything is working perfectly, then move on to the calibration process. It’s not until we’ve concluded several power runs and fine-tuned the ECU calibration for your car. It’s then extensively road tested when we’re 100% happy it’s over to you to enjoy and we guarantee you’ll be impressed!

Currently, this is our only McLaren 720s stage 1 tuning package. It’s developed to work in harmony with all original components.
You’ll no doubt see some wildly inaccurate power figures for the 720s online. But at Hybrid Tune we pride ourselves on the quality and accuracy of our service, utilising our state-of-the-art MAHA OEM spec rolling road, we can safely extract up to 800 Bhp / 850 Nm from our software calibration alone.
