The Syvecs S7i is our new low cost engine management system, designed to cater for clients on a budget that still need a extremely powerful controller!
Replacing the S6i, the ECU can be purchased as a stand alone or as part of our Plug N Play kits.
Clients benefit from extremely precise engine management control with the Syvecs S7i ECU.
The triple processor unit uses a high speed RISC processor for code execution and an additional large FPGA for high speed engine position tracking. This allows the scheduling of code to be independent of signal patterns, increasing flexibility, efficiency and accuracy under transient conditions. This powerful combination also allows advanced control algorithms that are easy to map for the end user still using our SCal software and S7 Firmware.
Designed to cater for PnP kits where clients also need the programmable CAN Bus and Drive-By-Wire support offered by the S7-I.
Using the same 3 x AMP Superseal connectors, the S7i also has the same pinout for its I/O as the S7plus ECU. This means that users can easily upgrade to an S7Plus at a later date if more inputs and outputs are needed without having to change the loom.
With the Third Processor now available, users are able to write their own C code for Full Vehicle Integration via Can bus. In addition, they can build some custom strategies for handling some of the unique requirements now found in OEM applications. Currently only Syvecs staff can do this but we are working on offering this out to all our dealers very soon!
